After graduating from Plymouth University, I spent four years working in the offshore industry, first as a Research Assistant, and later as a Marine Scientist, although both roles centered primarily around research and scientific writing. I have extensive experience of writing, editing and proofreading books, scientific papers, literature reviews, reports, and advice documents. Strong research and analysis skills give me flexibility and enable me to write proficiently about a wide variety of topics, scientific or otherwise. Having previously been responsible for company websites, social media, and marketing material, I have an in-depth understanding of how to produce strong content that will work for you.
I am an experienced writer and have co-authored many scientific papers and an international handbook, that provides guidance on environmental mitigation measures for marine mammals. A full list of my publications is shown below.
